Pumping Station from Grendel’s Lair

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

I’ve only bought two finished terrain pieces. 40k terrain is so easy and relatively inexpensive to make, it seems silly to buy. But, there are a few places where you can get some pretty good deals on terrain that just works. Jason Watkins, owner of Grendel’s Lair, attends local gaming events (Tacticon and GhengisCon) and sells some fantastic terrain.

40k Terrain: The next project…

Monday, October 4th, 2010

The 40k terrain next project in in bits collection phase. I’m going to make a pair of Imperial Guard forward command posts. I have two pressed paper packing molds that are just perfect for 40k buildings. Cool Goth 40k Terrain

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

I’m putting final touches on my Games Workshop 40k terrain craters. I’ve put all sorts of battlefield debris on the five craters and it’s taking a bit to paint. And the tutorial’s taking a bit of time to write. So, for now, I’ll have to leave you with these two teasers. I think they work superb with my Imperial Guard. 40k scenery doing what… Continue reading

40k Terrain – Great time at Tacticon

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

Had a great time yesterday at Tacticon 2010 hosted by the Denver Gamers Association. They were in the midst of starting the Warhammer 40k RTT as I walked through. No time this year for me to play, but it would have been nice. There were great 40k Terrain and Armies – here’s just a quick sample of a few.
