Warhammer 40k Terrain Barricades
Completed the first of six Games Workshop barricades for the Cities of Death project. It’s came out very well. I’m biased, but I think its an excellent Warhammer 40k terrain piece and can’t wait to see how the other five come out.
Just like the tank traps, the primary colors are house paint and craft grade acrylics. The acrylics are heavily pigmented and made superb, inky washes. The wire was made by hand and I’ll prepare a short video on how I do that.
The 40k bitz are a mix of Imperial Guard and Ork items, both colored to match the armies I’m making for both. There’s a few random odds-and-ends, too. The polystyrene rocks and beams added a great deal of depth to the 40k scenery piece as well.
